Program Description:

GoldsmithsGoldsmiths, University of London

Our Study Abroad programme gives international visiting students the opportunity to live, study and socialise with Goldsmiths undergraduate students for one or two terms, or the full academic year.

Goldsmiths: a close-knit community, a rich academic heritage, a creative powerhouse, a thought-provoking place

Goldsmiths is one of the world's top 100 universities for the arts and humanities (QS World University Rankings 2012
), and has been recognised as one of the UK's top creative universities as voted for by students (Which? University 2012).  We’ve been part of the world-renowned University of London for more than a century so the quality of our degrees is internationally recognised - a real advantage for your future studies or career.  We are ranked 9th in the UK for world-leading 4* research (Research Assessment Exercise 2008).

Location

New Cross - our South East London home - has a thriving music and arts scene, fantastic restaurants, buzzing cafes, and a genuinely diverse and eclectic population. It's also been voted as the best place in South East London for renting, and because we're on a single-site campus you'll have plenty of opportunities to explore the local area.

Academics

You can choose from a selection of either 15 or 30 credit modules from different disciplines across our many academic departments.

You are expected to undertake a full module load for your period of study.
You should check with your home university first about which modules taken at Goldsmiths will provide you with the credit. We ask you to provide both first and secondary choices on the application form. This is because it is not always possible to offer you your first choice modules due to limits on numbers or timetable clashes.

We examine or assess your performance on each module, and award you a grade under the British grading system. We issue you with a
Goldsmiths transcript that includes the number of credits you have taken, but your home university or college may interpret these in different ways. There are set requirements for each module that you will be expected to meet. No modules can be taken by audit.
